Have you never heard of RoRo and Lulla doll before?

Lulla doll is a creation of the Icelandic innovation company RoRo and has been sold in over 80 countries around the world. It’s first production, funded through the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, sold out globally within weeks of its release as news spread like wildfire of success stories of the Lulla doll.

Lulla's design is based on multiple scientific research that show the positive effects of closeness and kangaroo care to the development and well-being of young children and the effects that smell, sight and touch have.

The Lulla doll imitates closeness to a caregiver at rest by playing soothing sounds of a real heartbeat and breathing for 8 hours, giving the feeling that someone is sleeping nearby when their caregiver can't. The sound is set on a safe volume of 65dB and has a Velcro strap for safe attachment. The doll is machine washable at warm temperatures, making it safer for small babies with underdeveloped immune and respiratory systems. The fabric of the doll can absorb scent from caregivers if they keep it close to their skin before giving it to their child for added feeling of comfort and security. Lulla's soft feel, facial features and colours are also designed with purpose and care.

Lulla has been awarded multiple times, both for its design and functionality. In 2018 only Lulla doll has received 5 awards and been shortlisted for an additional design award. The one of a kind sleep companion has been awarded as:

  • The Best Sleep Solution by LBP Awards
  • Best Innovative Gift by LBP Awards
  • Top Choice in Baby Dolls category by Baby Maternity Magazine
  • Preferred Choice in Baby Toys category by Creative Child Magazine

A Mom Of Quintuplets Shares Secret On How The Babies Are Sleeping Through The Night

A Mom Of Quintuplets Shares Secret On How The Babies Are Sleeping Through The Night

October 08, 2019 3 min read

Kim Tucci from Perth, Australia is a a mum that beat amazing odds (one in 55 million to be exact!) by falling pregnant with quintuplets, naturally. She already had three children and just wanted to try for that last one… Now she and her husband Vaughn have 8 children at home, and their five little miracle babies are at the happy (and active) toddler stage. Kim has described her home as “absolutely wild” but said that the family had received a lot of help.

Lulla Doll is a saviour!

One of those helpers is in the form of doll. The Lulla doll, which was designed to help babies and young children sleep better.

“The Lulla doll is a saviour for any parent whether it be for a baby, toddler or young child. There is nothing worse than sleep deprivation, if your’e at the end of your tether the Lulla is a must try! Being a busy mum of quintuplets I just don’t have enough hands to settle everyone at night time, unless I run between rooms and try and settle each child. Sometimes quiet time in the cot with the lulla is enough to soothe the crankiest of babies. I would say this is a necessity for anyone expecting a baby, the doll will see you through many years of love and comfort.” – Kim describes

lulla

How the Lulla Doll works

Lulla doll was developed over the course of three years with input from doctors, nurses, psychologists, midwives, engineers, and baby testers. The Lulla doll is designed to help children fall asleep and stay asleep for longer. Originally designed to give premature babies a sense of comfort and closeness, the doll uses real-life recordings of a mother’s heartbeat, as well as realistic breathing sounds, to give babies a feeling of closeness.

The benefits of the Lulla doll are to support a healthy sleeping pattern and many parents report that their children are sleeping longer, falling asleep faster and feeling more comforted with their Lulla (user surveys show that over 90% would recommend the Lulla doll as a sleep aid to others).

The Lulla doll will work differently for every child as babies have their own sleep personalities. Be realistic and patient. Most users report that it takes time to intergrate Lulla into the sleep routine and see results. Although, for some the results are immediate but for most they are gradual.

They key to sleeping through the night and getting the best result is to intergrate the Lulla doll into a sleep routine. "All I can say is routine, routine, routine from birth if possible." - Says Kim on the secret why she thinks her children are sleeping through the night.

Find out how to get the magic out of the Lulla doll and establishing a good sleep routine to help your child sleep through the night.

What makes the Lulla doll unique?

Lulla imitates closeness with its soft feel, humanlike features and soothing sounds of real-life breathing and heartbeat. Lulla's unique design is based on scientific research on the positive effects of closeness, especially the sounds of heartbeat and breathing. These are:

  • Longer periods of uninterrupted sleep
  • More stable heartbeat and breathing rhythm
  • Increased wellbeing and lowered stress

lulla

Lulla doll helps children with:

• Falling asleep
• Staying asleep
• Self soothing
• Longer naps
• Comfort on the go
• Transition to their own room
• Switching to a bigger bed
• Feeling more safe and comforted

… and so much more.

Crowdfunding Anniversary Celebration

Crowdfunding Anniversary Celebration

October 08, 2019 2 min read

We are celebrating!

Lulla doll was once just a dream, an idea, years in development and testing. Then, four years ago on the 3rd of November this concept was put to the ultimate test. Would people want to help bring this idea to life with us. A new type of sleep companion that aimed to help babies sleep longer, feel better and safer.

It has been 4 years since we started our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, that was ony the beginning for all that has happened since. Now there are children all over the world with Lulla as their trusted companion, helping them sleep better and feel more comforted. Thank you to everyone that helped us bring life to this concept and being a part of our journey.

To celebrate this chapter we are proudly offering the Lulla doll for the original crowdfunding price. The early bird special in fact! The only difference… you do not have to wait. You can enjoy a better sleep, for a better price, now

“Lalli” (aka Lulla) and premature born boy Egill

Egill Örn Eiríksson was born on September 29th 2015 after 32 weeks of pregnancy.

He had to stay at the NICU during his first 3 weeks in life and shared his space with his lovely friend Lulla doll, or “Lalli”, as we named him.

When Egill Örn was born I read about ways to ease our separation (both for him and us), since we couldn’t stay with him at the NICU during the night. We decided to purchase Lulla doll and we don’t regret that decision. The doll was put in a bag and left inside the incubator with Egill. They seemed to get along very well.

Egill Örn thrived very well at the NICU and was quickly moved from the incubator to a cradle. I think Lalli (aka Lulla) was relieved to get out of the bag and be able to cuddle with Egill all day and night. The Lulla doll’s sounds were soothing for both Egill and his mom, me. The NICU nurses were in awe of the Lulla doll and checked out his cradle to see where the breathing sounds were coming from, which could be heard all over the room. By coincidence another child at the same room at the NICU also had a Lulla doll, so they breathed together for our little boys :)

Egill thrived so well that the friends Lalli and Egill were graduated from the NICU when Egill had only reached 35 weeks of pregnancy, or when he became 3 weeks old. Having Lalli with Egill at the NICU while we couldn’t stay with him gave us relief. The nurses helped us turn the doll on so Egill could listen to the breathing and heartbeat, and I’m sure it gave him added feeling of security and that we were still with him.

lulla

Lulla and Egill have been inseparable for 3 years

For the next 2 years Lulla’s comforting sounds were on during every night and every nap. After Egill started at kindergarten we took the sound unit out though. Now they cuddle together in silence and will probably do in the next years to come. Lalli gives a feeling of security and well-being.

In the last 3 years Egill and Lalli have been inseparable. Lalli has been brought to daycare and kindergarten every day and travels with us abroad and when we go camping :D

We couldn’t be more happy with our Lulla doll, Lalli, and I recommend it to everyone who’s looking for something that will bring security to their child.

A 5 year old raises money to give Lulla dolls

Last year (2017) 20 Lulla dolls were donated to the Children's Castle in Sioux Falls in the name of Preemie Brothers, who initiated the donation. We knew they were planning on doing some fundraising in the nearest future, in order to provide even more Lulla dolls to families in the NICU. Little did we know what was going to happen next.

In December Nolan, one of Preemie Brothers, had a birthday wish for his 5 year old birthday and that was to raise money to donate more Lulla dolls to the NICU he spent 131 days in when he was born! So he started a Facebook fundraiser where he raised enough money to buy 20 dolls.

Nolan was born at 26 weeks and 2 days. He loves to volunteer and help others. We couldn't believe our ears when hearing these news at RoRo so we decided to donate 20 additional dolls to the cause. Nolan brought 40 dolls to the NICU in January this year, giving more premature babies a chance to get a Lulla doll.

Lulla doll designed for premature babies

As we've mentioned earlier the Lulla doll was originally designed for preemies by Eyrún, the founder of RoRo. The idea of the doll was born when Eyrún's friend had her baby girl prematurely and had to leave her alone in the hospital every night for two weeks. That struck a chord with Eyrún and it was then that she decided to bring the Lulla doll to life.

Thank you to everyone who donated to Nolan's birthday fundraiser! It didn't only make us happy, it also brought so much joy to this beautiful 5 year old boy.

RoRo donates Lulla dolls to Icelandic NICU preemies

RoRo donates Lulla dolls to Icelandic NICU preemies

October 08, 2019 3 min read

In collaboration with the Preemie Parents Association in Iceland, the Icelandic innovation company RoRo is donating 50 Lulla dolls to premature children at the local NICU. The donation is a part of an ongoing research project on the Lulla doll, sleep companion for babies.

Two founding members of the association, Drífa Baldursdóttir and Anna Sigríður Pétursdóttir came to the Lulla doll HQ to meet with Eyrún to accept the donation and discuss the research project.

"On behalf of the Preemie Parents Association we would like to express our gratitude. We are convinced that the Lulla doll will come into good use with the families that are going through the difficult experience of having a newborn that needs to stay at the NICU". says Drífa Baldursdóttir chairman.

World Prematurity Day is observed on 17 November each year to raise awareness of preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families worldwide. Approximately 15 million babies are born preterm each year, accounting for about one in 10 of all babies born worldwide. We felt this time would be perfect to announce this collaboration, which is all about improving the life for prematures and their families in the NICU.

“We want to do even better, and we are now looking into creating a new product especially for premature children in these circumstances. We have always put an emphasis on feedback from parents in our product development” says Eyrún.

Sleep companion based on science originally designed for preemies

Research and user testing is an important part of RoRo’s product development. Before being brought to market three years ago, the Lulla doll had been in development and testing for 3 years prior, funded with government grants from the Icelandic technology fund.

"In my studies in psychology I learned that closeness, and especially the sounds of breathing and heartbeat, can profoundly affect children’s wellbeing and quality of sleep. With the help of doctors, nurses and midwifes I created the Lulla doll to help all children experience the comforting feeling of closeness.” says the founder Eyrún Eggertsdóttir on the creation of the Lulla doll.

The Lulla doll has already helped many premature children and is being used in a few NICUs in the US as well as in Iceland, for example at the NICU at Johns Hopkins, All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and the Sanford Boekelheide NICU in Sioux Falls. Holly Spinks, Certified Nurse & Manager at eQHealth Solutions that organized the donation project to the John Hopkins NICU had this to say about the Lulla doll:

“As a nurse, I know the Lulla doll is so important to these children in the NICU as they help the baby sleep at night, as it softly “breathes” next to the baby, they are amazing for preemies.”

Closeness is vital to wellbeing and development

RoRo specializes in the development of products that promote wellbeing, calmness, sleep and safety for children. Their first product is the Lulla doll. Lulla's design is based on multiple scientific research that show the positive effects of closeness and kangaroo care to the development and well-being of young children and the effects that smell, sight and touch have.

What makes the Lulla doll unique is that it imitates closeness with a soft feel, humanlike features and sounds of real-life breathing and heartbeat. As mentioned, the design is based on scientific research on the positive effects of closeness, especially the sounds of heartbeat and breathing. Those are:

  • Longer periods of uninterrupted sleep
  • More stable heartbeat and breathing rhythm
  • Increased wellbeing and lowered stress

Lulla has been awarded multiple times, both for its design and functionality. In 2018 only Lulla doll has received 5 awards and been shortlisted for an additional design award.

"This Genius “Sleep Companion” Doll FINALLY Got My Toddler To Sleep Through His Naps" - Angie's Story

My Toddler Tried The Lulla Doll Sleep Companion, & It Really Helped His Naps

My son has had his sleep issues. At 10 months, he was sleeping through the night, and rarely waking up in the wee hours. He would have a bottle, then get his teeth brushed, and then I would rock him to sleep in a dark room with classical music playing from an old iPhone. I rarely had trouble getting him to sleep, and honestly, I didn't mind having to be there holding him while he nodded off. But nap time was another story. Three or four times during his nap, he would stand up and cry out for me. I would go in, pick him up, cuddle him, put him back down, then leave him to fall back asleep. There was a gap in his ability to self-soothe, and I didn't want to do cry-it-out to fix it. But what other options are there? As it happened, my editor asked if I would test-drive a specialized toy designed to help tots sleep.

Designated as a "sleep companion" for preemies, babies, and toddlers by an entrepreneur in Iceland, the Lulla Doll puts out the sounds of breathing and a heartbeat. It's basically a lovey with added features designed to soothe babies and toddlers when their parent cannot be with them. As the creator, Eyrún, explains, "the idea of the Lulla doll was born when my friend had her baby girl prematurely and had to leave her alone in the hospital every night for two weeks." It is also designed to look somewhat genderless and post-racial, so it appeals to all kids.

lulla

We co-sleep — my son's crib is in our room, which means we are present for his night sleeps but not his naps — so I felt like maybe he could use some "closeness."

When we first got the doll in the mail, my first impression was... it was adorable! As I unwrapped her, my son Kai watched on from his crib, standing up. I think he assumed it was for him because he got excited! He started bouncing up and down in his crib, holding on to the front railing. I took her out of the little drawstring bag and gave her a once over. I thought about getting Kai a doll previously, but I didn't find any of them cute. Some of the dolls in the toy section in various stores were either not age-appropriate or looked creepy to me. The Lulla Doll was super sweet-looking, with a face that said "you know you want to cuddle up and go to sleep."

I didn't turn her on or even read the instructions, because Kai was too excited! He grabbed her, hugged her, and started bouncing happily with her in his crib. Perhaps he was excited because with all the dolls scattered around the house belonging to his three older sisters (I have two Cabbage Patch Kids up on the shelf in our bedroom myself), he thought, "Finally! A doll just for me!"

The First Week

After loving on his new toy, I asked him if I could see the doll. I read the pamphlet that came with and turned her on by pressing her belly. I have to admit, the breathing sounds freaked me out a little bit at first. Of course, after a while you get used to it, but I was afraid it would startle my son. With the breathing and heartbeat sounds on, I handed her back to Kai. He didn't seem startled one bit. He went back to hugging her.

I believe the sounds of the doll, though not very loud at all, probably keep him from being startled.

The doll emits a steady heartbeat and breathing sounds. They are very realistic. White noise has been deemed useful to drown out noise interruptions for babies, although the American Pediatric Academy has warned that some white noise machines exceed healthy noise limits, per Heathline. I know that playing classical music for my daughters when they were babies drowned out the sound of us walking around the house. Living in an apartment building, we've had noisy neighbors. More than a few times I was worried about someone slamming their door or a car alarm going off and waking him from his slumber. I believe the sounds of the doll, though not very loud at all, probably keep him from being startled by these noises.

There is also support for the use of loveys among researchers. Johns Hopkins Medicine has recommended parents introduce a "transitional object" — a lovey, in parental talk — to aid with sleep once your baby is able to roll and sit to avoid the risk of suffocation. (The baby's sleep environment is otherwise supposed to be free of bedding or other objects, per the American Pediatric Academy's Safe Sleep Guidelines.)

The first few nights, I thought perhaps the sounds of the doll would keep Kai awake, or be weird for him, but he fell asleep as usual. I think it's possible that the sounds give Kai the assurance he needed to stay asleep. Studies have shown that co-sleeping — sleeping in the same room with the parent — is better for an infant. The sounds of the Lulla Doll imitate the sound of a sleeping parent. And since we are often in the other room watching television or talking during the early part of the night, I suspect Kai feels secure with his doll because he doesn't feel alone.

We are very careful with Kai's Lulla doll, since he has such affection for her.

The batteries are easy to replace, with a little screwdriver, and you can easily take the sound box out of the doll if she needs a wash in the washing machine. We keep AAA batteries around just in case. Perhaps when he's older, he'll want to continue to sleep with or play with the doll and we can take the sound box out of her. All three of my daughters still have loveys or stuffed animals that they loved and slumbered with as babies.

Six months later

We are very careful with Kai's Lulla Doll, since he has such affection for her. We take care of her the way we took care of his sister's loveys, because at this point, we honestly don't know if he'd notice or miss her presence if something happened to her. We don't take her out of the house with him, though we would if we were to go on a long trip or family vacation. We keep her in his crib most of the time, though sometimes when he wakes up from his afternoon nap, he carries her with him to the living room. And yes, of course he treats her rough, as toddlers tend to do with their toys. He drops her on the floor. He's spilled milk on her. He's even thrown her, but she's perfectly fine because of the great construction. Sometimes I even hug and kiss El to make Kai smile. I've sung to her and rocked her to "sleep" to please him also. Nothing like making my toddler smile!

I would recommend a Lulla Doll to another mom, but with the price tag, I would recommend putting one on her baby registry and hoping someone thinks it's cute enough to gift!

"This doll is a life saver and I would recommend it to any expecting parent" - Agusta's Story

October 08, 2019 3 min read

"We were basically ready to try almost anything if it meant a few more minutes of sleep"

In late september 2014 our second child, Vopni, was born (see the birth story on our blog). A few weeks after Vopni's birth we recognized our sleep-deprived selves from our first child, Ylfa.

Ylfa was colic as an infant and I am sure that anyone who's had a colic baby can bond with the agony and insanity that endless sleepless nights will bring you. Listening to white noise way too loudly, bouncing on a yoga ball and walking around the living room with the baby strapped on you day and night. Literally trying every trick in the book to get your baby to stop crying.

Vopni wasn't colic but he had acid reflux which made it impossible to lay him down for a nap. We had to carry him around all day long and the nights were a disaster.

We were facing the whole thing head first again only this time with a toddler to take care of as well. Needless to say, these were desperate times.

When we heard the news of the Lulla doll crowdfunding we were ecstatic and crossed our hearts that it would pull through the crowdfunding and into production as we had 100% confidence in this beautiful little doll and at this point we were basically ready to try almost anything if it meant a few more minutes of sleep.

"Our son took to the Lulla doll immediately and it had a wonderfully calming effect on him"

To our happiness the Lulla pulled through and we welcomed it into our home once the production was over and we finally got it in our hands. The wait felt like forever but oh how happy we were when it finally arrived. Vopni took to it immediately and it had a wonderfully calming effect on him. I would feed him and hold him and then lay him down with the Lulla as close to his chest as possible to mimic my presence and miraculously he wouldn't wake up immediately. Slowly he started sleeping longer stretches at a time and we could feel the return of our normal selves once we got a little break.

We bought the twin pack, back in the crowdfunding so Ylfa, our toddler, would get a doll for herself as well. She loved her from the very beginning and took care of her as her own little baby. She strapped her on and carried her around like I carried her brother and she would sleep with her at night as well. Another positive outcome we did not expect was that when she started sleeping with the Lulla doll she stopped crawling into our bed in the middle of the night. She would sleep through the night in her own bed with the Lulla doll next to her! A wonderful and welcome surprise for tired parents.

"This doll is a life saver"

Now, 4 years later we find ourselves expecting again in another couple of weeks!

Dreading the sleepless nights but armored with a serious skill set for crying babies and excited to start this new life off with her very own little Lulla doll from the very beginning! This doll is a life saver and I would recommend it to any expecting parent for the best head-start possible :)

New and improved

Lulla doll now plays for 12 hours, with improved sound, longer battery duration and adjustable volume. The doll comes in three different colors and the new fabric is even softer and more durable with embroidered details. Still machine washable — still a sleep miracle.

We'd love for you to meet us!

Eyrun, the founder of RoRo and designer of Lulla doll, will be at the booth, telling you the story behind Lulla doll and answering questions. Meet us at booth #106 and you'll have the opportunity to meet this great mompreneur, who successfully crowdfunded the Lulla doll on Indiegogo 4 years ago.

Have you never heard of Lulla doll before?

The Lulla doll is a sleep companion for preemies, babies and toddlers. It imitates closeness to a caregiver at rest with its soft feel and real-life sounds of breathing and heartbeat.

Lulla plays her soothing sounds for up to 12 hours to help your little one feel stable and safe and adding to the length and quality of sleep.

Lulla's unique design is based on scientific research that shows how closeness improves sleep, wellbeing and safety.

The doll has a strap for safe attachment and is machine washable at warm temperatures, making it safer for small babies with underdeveloped immune and respiratory systems. The fabric of the doll can absorb scent from caregivers if they keep it close to their skin before giving it to their child, for added feeling of comfort and security. Lulla's soft feel, facial features and colours are designed with purpose and care.

Lulla doll has shown to help foster children

October 08, 2019 5 min read

Last year RoRo donated 27 Lulla dolls to members of Threads of Change, an organization supporting foster children and their families.
A few months after the donation took place we received multiple stories from foster parents, telling how the Lulla doll helped their foster child.
Every child is unique and these stories show how the doll can help in different situations and with a variety of challenges children face.

May is National Foster Care Month in the United States, so every May we participate in raising awareness of the problems foster families have to face. Last year we participated by donating Lulla dolls to 27 foster children in the US, in collaboration with Threads of Change, which is a 100% volunteer run group that exists to serve foster kids during a time of crisis in their life.
After using the doll for some time the members were asked to answer a number of questions about their usage of Lulla doll and we've gained very valuable information from this collaboration.

Lulla Doll Foster Care Donation

Our contact at Threads of Change told us how glad she was hearing great stories about children who had poor sleep habits, utilize the doll and develop much better sleep habits, to the delight of their foster parents.

"We can not effectively express our gratitude of your donation of Lulla dolls. Many families have recommended the doll to others, and we often tell new families about the doll when they come to utilize our services for the first time.
We all agree that you have a great product and thankful we had this opportunity to support so many kids in care with their sleep habits with your donation."

Stories from foster parents

It is a known fact that sleep is often in short supply with adopted and foster children. They may refuse to sleep or rest and face an inability to sleep. Many adopted and foster children have a difficult time falling and staying asleep.

We received so many wonderful stories, telling how the Lulla doll helped their foster child. Every child is unique and these stories show how the doll can help in different situations and with a variety of challenges children face.
The foster parents told us that Lulla doll helped their children:

- Giving them comfort when falling asleep in the evening
- Giving them comfort when they wake up during the night
- Sleep better throughout the night
- Wake up less often /
Sleep for longer stretches
- Sooth them to sleep
- Fall asleep faster
- Sleep throughout the whole night without waking up
- Experiencing a more positive bed time routine (e.g. stop crying and screaming)
- Stop harming themselves during bedtime
- Deal with transitions
- Wake up happier

Below you can read examples of the stories we received from this project.
The children's names have been changed in this text.

Baby Charlie

Baby Charlie would usually wake up randomly throughout the night.
The Lulla doll has helped to comfort our little guy and help him not wake at night. He loves to snuggle his doll and it helps to soothe him to sleep more quickly than without the doll. We’ve experienced all of the benefits that we thought we would.

Susan

Prior to receiving the Lulla doll Susan would be flopping around her bed during bedtime, getting up multiple times, singing, yelling at us for an hour+ before falling asleep. She also wakes up with night terrors. Susan now holds the doll on her chest and falls asleep within minutes.

Kara

The child had night terrors before receiving Lulla doll. She would also wake up multiple times throughout the night looking for her pacifier. When falling asleep, she would want me to stay by her bed or hold her.
The child now falls asleep on own with no tears. She sleeps through the night. I didn’t know what to expect honestly. This tool was very new to us, but we have seen much progress with the doll and are grateful for it.

Sisters - Rachel and Beth

The girls share a room. The 2 year old would, scream, throw, kit, and even bite herself.  Every night for more then 2 hours. There would be nights where she would scream without stopping.
My foster child is no longer harming herself. She is going to sleep with out having an episode. She has become a different person.

Aron

Before receiving Lulla doll we would spend 4 plus hours putting our foster son to sleep. He now goes to sleep within 30 minutes at night.

Baby Lucas

The Lulla doll has helped keep him asleep longer and wake up less during the night.
I have noticed he now will play in his crib with the Lulla doll when he wakes instead of crying right away.

Jessica

Jessica is diagnosed with PTSD among other things. She has severe night terrors.
Jessica likes having her doll. If she wakes up she will push the belly and says she isn’t scared because her doll protects her.
She hasn’t been coming into our room and sleeping on the floor to feel safe anymore.
She still gets night mares and they wake her up. But she is able to fall asleep much faster.

Lauren and baby sister

Lulla doll helped the 2 year old with transitioning sleeping here during nap time. She used to wake up during the her nap.
I think it is great for kids that are coming from uncertainty.  We purchased one for my bio son and he liked it. It kind of sounds like Darth Vader (total Star Wars Fan) so when we would tell him to go get his Darth Vader he knew what we were talking about at 2. I found it helped him sleep much longer in the morning. He was not waking up when the sun came up.
I was very satisfied that it helped both of my girls transition when it was introduced during visits. I think it's a great tool to have to help kids transition.

Baby Victor

Baby boy has always been a pretty good sleeper, but he was waking up sporadically throughout the night. We thought the doll would help make his sleep longer and more consistent, especially with the news that he would be having over night, extended visits, with other family members.
Baby boy sleeps longer now with Lulla doll and wakes less often. We were hoping for the exact benefits we have received by using the doll.

Baby Josh

Prior to receiving the Lulla doll he refused to sleep without a person holding him. Regardless of what he slept in, he couldn’t fall asleep without being with a person.
The benefits I have experienced with the Lulla doll are related to his sleep patterns. It was a life saver. Lulla doll did exactly as I needed it to.
